We fit this fresh and clean California garden into a narrow, L-shaped outdoor space. The grilling and fountain area are off the kitchen. As one looks to the right, another more expansive seating area invites you in. From there, the spa and chaise landing are revealed. Gravel, concrete seeded with sea shells and simple colored concrete are layered into clean hardscape textures. The limited plant palette does not crowd the narrow space. A very useful garden that expands the home's livable area and brings the whole family outside.
